Tension
An image and material design experiment to visualize tension.
This series of photos uses a combination of balloons and industrial materials to visualize tension bringing an object just before its breaking point.
The tension is displayed as the balloons are seen bound, caged, stretched, and prodded by synthetic materials. Tension is emphasized by juxtaposing the rigidity of the industrial materials to the amorphous nature of the balloons.
